In the object, a mattress, which has an optimized insulation factordue
to springs, forms a barrier between the exchange of thermal energies in the object and the environment. Thus, a distinction between two areas is materialized as it only occurs in the principle of insulant: As much space as less material as possible. Space becomes an essential component of the material properties, which “massively” delays an exchange between the object and the surrounding space.
The prevention of the exchange, which also promises a certain protection, works in both directions, the environment can be protected just as much from the internal temperature as the object from the external one.
